Oh man. I’ve been waiting for this reunion and subsequent talking-it-out for YEARS and all I can say is. . . it does NOT disappoint. I’ve reread these past few pages so many times and with every repetition it just gets better. Every panel exceeds my expections by leaps and bounds. . . and WOW, those flashback panels. . . my HEART.
I love the little splotch of decay(?) on Davey’s face, by the way, aaaaaah. It’s weirdly adorable. Like death freckles. Little details like that are GREAT. And it’s on his haaaaaands too, GAH. Maybe that’s dirt? It’s perfect, either way.
And the expressions, as usual, are ON POINT. Davey’s terrified face in the panel where he’s just climbed out of his own grave. . . that gorgeous mixture of shock and horror and confusion. . . and the way Parker’s expression is slowly softening???? Plus flashback Saaaaaaam. . . and feral Davey just looks so. . . animalistic. And that long shot of Parker on the swings makes my heart do flips, which can’t be healthy, biologically speaking.
And that’s not even mentioning how much your art has improved– I’ve been reading for a long time, and the progress you’ve made is remarkable! Your art is and always has been a source of inspiration to me, and this comic has gotten me through some rough times.

I’m honestly blown away… how many years have we been waiting on this moment? Oh man, even with everything else that’s going on plot-wise, and this ties into how Davey’s already in a very emotional state right now, and it feels like we’re finally getting somewhere…
also, anon’s comment about death freckles made my day
I just noticed something the skin flap on Davey’s face on the suit panel it’s obviously sewn back on but it’s another color. Owen has 2 tone skin and did those himself so did he remove those certain areas and sewed them back on just to get the effect of having a mask and gloves? if so was it painful? it still hasn’t been clarified that they can sense pain or not so there’s that I guess
wow i am so excited for the next few updates, im so proud of you and the progress youve made!! your art has improved so much, your coloring, the expressions, the dialogue, everything is so amazing! ive been waiting for the reunion of my boys for a long time and im so happy this is finally happening, im so blown away but how much this comic has impacted my life and how many amazing friends ive made because of it, and this page is making me really emotional wow
