My favorite part of reading this comic is taking notice of the gradual evolution of the art. Each page I see highlights a change that I had never noticed before or only just started to notice. I love watching Jess’s growth as an artist.

but (and i’m super sorry to add this but my brain instantly thought this) what if he can never properly speak again? what if he has to continue using the phone for the rest of the comic?
though i guess this could be an interesting change, he might learn sign language as a way to communicate but who knows.
