Ah yes. Yet ANOTHER page where I don’t understand why people love Owen so much. HE’S FUCKING MURDERING PEOPLE. WHAT IS IT ABOUT THAT IS LOVABLE? I bet y’all think Hannibal is great too.
Firstly Owen isn’t murdering “people” he’s murdering “characters”. No matter what even the most rabid of fans will generally hold any living creature above fictional characters.
Secondly there’s Owen’s character. On the one hand, he lives his unlife to the fullest and answers to no one. He’s got a great sense of humor, and is kind to cats. On the other he is beyond broken and though won’t admit it really needs a hug. He’s tried to kill himself twice in story is implied not just to have tried before, but that some or all of those stitches are self-inflicted.What little we know about when he was alive (author’s deviantart not in story) is sympathetic and you can just picture that poor 13 yr old Owen waking up dead in any numbers of horrible situations while ‘figuring out’ that Awares need to eat humans in unfun ways.
All that said now we know Owen at least sometimes dismembers people ALIVE rather than as corpses. Now THAT may lose him some fans…
Shit man Owen’s more vicious than I thought. That’s an awfully *slow* way to die. I guess I thought he’d just ripped them clean off or at least used a power tool.
Now that I think about it, PJ’s gonna go pay respects to the kids who used to bully him. I’m glad he’s not petty.
