The dubious benefit of enduring Owen’s harassment:

Really shouldn’t talk like that in front of like say your classmates though- provided you don’t want to suspect your a serial killer’s bestie. I think at this point Baz may be well on his way to puzzling that out.
Noah why is he not scheduled for therapy? An emergency evaluation would be perfectly reasonable after everything that happened.
Oh My Gosh! It took me 3 days to realize that PJ wasn’t saying “goodnight buddy” to Deacon (as if to say, good talk, later asshole), he was saying it in reference to Deacon calling Bastian his “Buddy”. I can’t believe I didn’t realize it! Oh my gosh, that makes that line even funnier now. The amount of sass this child still has.
Also, I can’t believe how bold PJ has gotten. Before all that shit with Owen, PJ probably never would have gotten up that courage to just up and grab Bastian and pull him down for a kiss in front of Deacon (not even if they were dating). But now he don’t even give a fuck. He doesn’t even blush in embarrassment (tbh, Baz is doing all the blushing for them. Also, I love that PJ has initiated both kisses so far, the boy who was once so nervous to go lazer tagging as friends with Baz before). PJ is seriously in a state of “Fuck it”
But on a serious note, this does actually concern me. Because PJ is not okay, and he honestly needs a hug right now. And him and Bastian need to sit down and fucking talk about Owen, cause honestly, once Baz stops processing that kiss, he’s going to start realizing that PJ’s words and actions a second ago do not sing of an innocent man. If anything, it makes him seem more untrustworthy, or suspicious or doubtful. We the audience are fully aware PJ has done no wrong, only been subjected to a mad lunatic’s games, but sadly, Bastian is not aware of this, and what PJ said to Deacon a second ago could come off as a threat (instead of a warning, like PJ had probably intended. Or maybe it was a threat, a means to scare or just shut Deacon up by making him think he was the killer, who knows) but if that’s the case, then that’s still not good, because we already know Bastian is struggling and trying to trust him, especially after the earful from Micah, but words like that make it very hard to believe Micah. Even I would have doubts if I didn’t know the situation. They need to talk.
Also…PUPPY PARKER JONES MY ASS! THIS CHILD IS NO LONGER THE SAME KID WHO CRIED 3 TIMES DURING AIR BUD! SOMEBODY NEEDS TO HUG HIM! LIKE STAT! LIKE END OF THIS CHAPTER! AFTER THEIR TALK, BASTIAN NEEDS TO JUST WRAP PJ IN HIS ARMS AND HOLD HIM THROUGH THE NIGHT AND KEEP HIM SAFE! BECAUSE THIS IS NOT PUPPY PARKER!
