why did owen cough if he dont use his lungs? why is his blood red and pouring out of him? wouldnt it have dried up/discolored being dead for so long? what happened to davy’s chin? speaking of davy, why isnt pj freaking out over seeing his dead brother? why am i asking so many pointless questions?! i love this comic man. just freaking love it thats why. o3o
Yanno i used to try justifying this stuff but there really isn’t any excusing it anymore, but let’s see.
If they didn’t use their lungs/air at all they wouldn’t be able to speak, if the blood isn’t red it won’t show up like I want it to that well against the background, Davey’s chin changed back in Mask as a stylistic choice, PJ is shellshocked.
I’ve heard that human blood is actually Indigo, but turns red upon exposure to oxygen. This makes sense, considering that we have blue blood veins (oxygen deprived) and red blood veins (oxygen filled). So, dead or alive, if someone gets cut, they’ll bleed red blood (unless they’re in some oxygen-less area, like space)!
I like red blood. They may be undead with gross skin, but they still move/think/talk. If you think of their gross skin as simply a result of death-degradation rather than a result of dead blood underneath, it makes sense. They’re semi-alive, post-death. Or something.

Wow the art has improved so much since the last time we saw Chainy and Davey and it is so impressive. I love this comic so much. The story line and art are just so amazing.
Dude Chainey looks so adorable in his outfit~ I love his baseball cap. What is WITH him and all those hats?? I love it. And shit, Owen is really getting a beating here. I love how PJ like wants to save him but he isn’t sure what to do, especially since his brother just broke in as a FUCKING ZOMBIE. I can NOT wait to see how this scene plays out!
